The South Camden historic district covers 686 acres and 608 buildings, most of them narrow brick rows put up for people who walked to work at New York Shipbuilding and the waterfront plants. When the yard closed the neighbourhood lost its reason for existing in a single decade. Interstate 676 was later cut straight through it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
