The Real Good Construction Company bought out the vegetable growers here in 1923 and laid a grid of crescent-shaped streets over the fields, filling them with more than five hundred Tudor houses at $7,500 each. The name is the first two letters of the first two words of the pitch, real good homes. Almost nowhere else in the city is named after a builder's copy.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
