Mesa spent $95 million on a downtown arts complex of more than 210,000 square feet, finished in 2005. It holds four theatres, from a 99 seat studio to the 1,600 seat Ikeda Theater, plus the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum and fourteen teaching studios. It is the largest facility of its kind in the state.
