The Lankershim Arts Center, once the Department of Water and Power
1980
Los Angeles, California
CC0 · Wikimedia Commons
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power built this on Lankershim Boulevard, and the city made it a Historic-Cultural Monument in 1980. It was later converted into theatre and gallery space rather than being sold off. It now anchors the NoHo Arts District, which grew up around it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
