The city put its arts centre on the south shore of Tempe Town Lake and opened it in September 2007. It holds a 600 seat proscenium theatre, a 200 seat studio theatre and a gallery, under an angular metal roof that reads from the far bank. The ground it stands on was Salt River bed until Tempe dammed the channel and filled the lake in 1999.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
