1976

Founded in 1974 and installed two years later in the former Clarendon School, later called the Maury School, this is a museum that collects nothing. It shows work by living artists from the Mid-Atlantic instead, across nine galleries in 17,000 square feet. Twelve artists rent subsidised studios in the building.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
