The Gaylord Texan puts 1,814 rooms under glass beside Grapevine Lake

Gaylord opened its Texas resort in 2004 with 1,814 guest rooms and about 486,000 square feet of meeting space wrapped around atriums under glass roofs. It turned Grapevine into a convention destination in its own right rather than a place people slept near the airport, and its winter ice sculpture halls and the Glass Cactus nightclub pull crowds from across the metroplex.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
