The company levelled a Hunts Point mansion and built a fortified printing works between 1909 and 1911, with barred windows, its own power plant and a vault. It printed stock certificates, bonds, postage and paper currency for dozens of foreign governments, which made a Bronx factory floor one of the most heavily guarded industrial buildings in the country. It became a city landmark in 2008.
