Scarborough, a village laid out for people with money

Scarborough-on-Hudson is 376 acres of estate country inside Briarcliff Manor, with seven significant properties running from the late 1700s to the early 1900s. Most are houses, the rest schools and churches, and the prevailing styles are mid nineteenth century revival and late Victorian. The district went on the National Register in 1984 and it explains why the surrounding roads still feel like driveways.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
