Archwood Avenue, the wide street the village of Brooklyn platted for its biggest houses

When the village of Brooklyn was laid out, this side street was drawn wider than the others and given larger lots, so the village's grandest houses went up along it. Most of what stands now dates from around the turn of the twentieth century. Cleveland annexed the village, and the street became a historic district in 1987.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
