Wyatt C. Hedrick designed this three storey Beaux Arts building in Cordova limestone and it opened on 22 February 1933. The Fort Worth painters Dwight Clay Holmes and William Henry Baker added murals inside the following year under the Public Works of Art Project, the first of the New Deal art programmes. Historic Fort Worth put the building on its most endangered list in 2014.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
