The Office of the Supervising Architect put up this limestone post office in 1915 under Oscar Wenderoth, one of a run of federal buildings turned out to a common Classical Revival formula for towns across the country. It is two to three storeys, a five bay centre with single bay wings set back on either side. It went on the National Register in 1989.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
