Julia Morgan designed this shingled hall in 1911 as a gathering place for women students at Berkeley, who wanted their own answer to the senior men's hall. It was called Girton Hall and stood on the central campus, near where the business school is now. It was later lifted and moved up to the university's botanical garden in the hills and renamed for its architect.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
