Flagler wanted the corner the Olivet Methodist congregation stood on, so he offered a swap: give up the old church and parsonage and he would build them a new complex behind the Ponce de Leon. Carrere and Hastings drew both this church and the Hotel Alcazar that went up on the vacated ground. Grace was finished in 1887 in poured concrete with coquina aggregate, and Flagler handed it to the town.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
