The Glendale Union district founded its high school in 1911 and settled it on this corner of Glendale and Grand avenues in the autumn of 1912. Every other Arizona high school of that generation has moved, closed or been rebuilt elsewhere. The auditorium, put up in 1939, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
