Cumberland Island
1972
Camden County, Georgia
Tim Kiser · CC BY-SA 4.0 · Wikimedia Commons
A barrier island of live oak and salt marsh where the Carnegies built mansions, now a national seashore reachable only by ferry with a daily visitor cap. Feral horses graze the ruins, and John F. Kennedy Jr. Was married in a one-room church on it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
