The Commemorative Air Force established its Arizona unit at Falcon Field in 1978, on an airfield that had trained British RAF cadets through the Second World War. It grew into one of the largest units in the organisation, and it keeps its aircraft airworthy rather than parked. The B-17 Sentimental Journey and a B-25 both still fly out of here and carry paying passengers.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
