Miracle on 34th Street
Macy's Herald Square, Manhattan

A department-store Santa who says he is the real one, put on trial for it, at the store that agreed to let its own name and its Thanksgiving parade carry the film. Macy's flagship on Herald Square is still the largest store in the country, still runs the parade the film opens on, and still, at Christmas, is more or less the set.
