Nakatomi Plaza, the tower a barefoot cop spends Christmas Eve retaking floor by floor, is the real headquarters of the studio that made the film, which was still under construction, so the production had a whole tower to blow things up in. The building is ordinary offices now, and every December the argument about whether this is a Christmas movie starts again.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
