The legislature carved this borough out of Little Falls in 1914 and called it West Paterson. In 2008 its residents voted to rename the place Woodland Park, dropping the city next door out of their address after ninety four years. It was the second town on Paterson's edge to do it, following East Paterson, which became Elmwood Park in 1973.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
