The Staten Island Mall arrives in the middle of the island

Opened in 1973 on the flat land beside Fresh Kills, it is the only enclosed shopping mall in the borough and the second largest shopping centre in New York City. It pulled the island's commercial centre away from the old main streets at Port Richmond and St. George. It is also a transport hub in its own right, with the bus routes of the whole island converging on a car park.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
