Congress protected 134 miles of the Current and the Jacks Fork four years before the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, making this the first national park unit created to keep a river undammed. The water comes out of the biggest springs in America, Big Spring alone puts out around 280 million gallons a day, clear and cold.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
