Frank Lloyd Wright drew this house for Theodore and Bette Pappas between 1955 and 1959 as a Usonian Automatic, a system meant to let owners build with cast concrete blocks themselves. The Pappases did exactly that, laying it up with day labourers between 1960 and 1964. It is the only Usonian Automatic in Missouri and one of two Wright houses in the St. Louis area. It joined the National Register in 1979.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
