Wright's Rosenbaum House
1940
Riverview Drive, Florence, Alabama
Public domain · Wikimedia Commons
A newlywed couple wrote to Frank Lloyd Wright with $7,500 and got a Usonian house of cypress and brick with a flat roof and no attic, basement or garage. It is the only Wright building in Alabama and the only Usonian lived in by one family from the day it was finished until it became a museum, they had him back in 1948 to extend it when the children arrived.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
