The Kraus House, the Frank Lloyd Wright home with almost no right angles
1950

Russell and Ruth Kraus asked Frank Lloyd Wright for a house in 1950 and got a plan drawn entirely on parallelograms. The brick and cypress house sits on a parallelogram footprint, the bed is a parallelogram and the sheets have to be made to order. The only right angles in the building are in the bathroom. Construction dragged on past 1960 and was never formally finished. St. Louis County now keeps the house and its grounds as Ebsworth Park.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
