The Old House at Cutchogue

One of the oldest English houses in the state stands on the village green of a North Fork farm town, timber-framed in the manner its builders had left behind in England, with the steep roof and casement windows of a country they were already forgetting. It has been moved once and altered barely at all in three and a half centuries.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
