The Arbutus Oak outlives the interchange built around it
2019

A white oak reckoned at 329 years old stood in the southwest corner of the interchange between Interstate 695 and Interstate 95, about four miles from Baltimore. It had been growing since roughly 1690, long before the county around it, let alone the roads. Internal decay left the trunk unstable and the tree split in half and fell in 2019.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
