Cleveland, Ohio

The tallest building in the world outside New York for two decades, built by two brothers who wanted a rail terminal and put a 52-storey tower on top of it. Its foundations go 250 feet down to bedrock, deeper than most of it is tall.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
