DFW Airport Terminal A station puts a train at the gate forty years late
2014
DFW Airport, Texas
The airport opened in 1974 built around the car, with parking rings inside every terminal and no rail line reaching a gate. That held for four decades. DART pushed its Orange Line the last five miles from Belt Line and opened this platform on 18 August 2014, four months ahead of schedule, connecting the terminals to Las Colinas and downtown Dallas. Walkways run from here to the commuter platform at Terminal B, where TEXRail heads west to Fort Worth.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
