Gravesend, Brooklyn

The burial ground at Gravesend Neck Road and McDonald Avenue was laid out around 1658 and is one of the oldest surviving cemeteries in New York City. It holds the original patentees of the town and their families along with Revolutionary War dead. Lady Deborah Moody, who chartered Gravesend in 1645, is believed to be buried here, though no one has ever identified which grave is hers.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
