Marymount College and the hill it left behind
1907
Tarrytown, New York
The Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary opened a girls' boarding school on this hill above Tarrytown in December 1907 and built it up into a women's college that ran for a century. It ended as part of Fordham University, graduated its last class in 2007 and the campus was sold the year after. The buildings sit on one of the higher points in the village with the Hudson below them.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
