Sid Grauman built a pagoda on Hollywood Boulevard and started the forecourt of handprints, supposedly after an actress stepped in wet concrete. Nearly 200 sets are in the paving, including Roy Rogers's horse and the hoof of Trigger, and a set of cigars.
