Wright had designed an opera house for Baghdad that was cancelled when the Iraqi monarchy fell. He adapted the drawings for a university auditorium in Tempe, and the circular building with its ring of columns went up between 1962 and 1964, after his death. It is counted among his last public commissions and was listed on the National Register in 1985.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
