Webster, Tuxedo Park and Webster Park grew up along the Missouri Pacific line. Old Orchard and Selma grew up along the Frisco. On 2 April 1896 the five voted to combine into one city so they could fund fire, water and schools together rather than five times over. The result is one of the oldest inner ring suburbs in the St. Louis area.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
