Norwegian Moravians founded the village as a religious community and banned alcohol, and it stayed the last dry town in Wisconsin until residents voted 2016 to allow it, after 163 years, and by a fairly narrow margin. The white Moravian church above the harbour is on every photograph of the county.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
