Lake Ridge spreads across the wooded hills where Cedar Hill runs into Grand Prairie, on the bluffs above Joe Pool Lake. More than a thousand mostly custom houses sit on large lots, split between open streets and seven separate gated enclaves with names like The Bluffs, The Sanctuary and The Summit. It is what the Best Southwest built once the lake filled and the cedar hills became a view instead of a nuisance.
