1885
Handley, Fort Worth, Texas

The Texas and Pacific platted Handley in 1885, seven miles east of downtown Fort Worth, and the interurban that arrived in 1902 gave the town a second railway and a second payroll. These commercial blocks served the employees of both. Fort Worth annexed Handley in 1946 and the storefronts became a historic district.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
