The Ballestone-Stansbury House sits on Cedar Point between the Back and Middle Rivers, built around 1800 as the house of a working plantation and enlarged twice over the next eighty years. Baltimore County owns it now and it stands inside Rocky Point Park, on a shoreline otherwise given over to bungalows and boat slips. It was listed on the National Register in 1975. The Ballestone name attached to it by mistake and stuck.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
