Arlington Mills, worsted wool across two cities

The Arlington Mills grew between 1865 and 1925 into one of the largest textile operations in Massachusetts, spilling across the line between Lawrence and Methuen. By the time the complex was listed on the National Register in 1985 it belonged to Malden Mills, the company that would later make Polartec.
