Airport Circle, one of the first traffic circles in the country

The circle opened in 1927 where Route 38 meets US 30 and US 130, and is generally described as the first of its kind built in the United States. It takes its name from the Camden Central Airport terminal that stood just to the southeast. New Jersey went on to build dozens more and then spent decades tearing them out, this one included, which now runs on traffic lights and ramps.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
