September 15, 1958
Newark Bay off Bayonne, New Jersey

On the morning of September 15, 1958 a Central Railroad of New Jersey commuter train passed a restricting signal, then a stop signal, and ran off the raised lift span into the water. Two locomotives and two coaches sank at once, killing 48 people. A third coach hung by one truck over the bay for two hours before it fell in as well. The engine crew died, so the cause was never proven.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
