A free, citywide music festival where residents host local musicians on their own porches, turning Somerville's streets into a self-guided concert circuit for an afternoon. Started in 2011 by the Somerville Arts Council with about 75 bands, it has grown into one of the largest porch festivals in the country with 500-plus acts.
