A free three day Greek food festival hosted by St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Euless, between Dallas and Fort Worth, now in its mid thirties as an annual tradition. Homemade pastries, gyros, and live Greek music and dancing draw visitors from across the Mid-Cities. The 2026 edition runs Friday through Sunday, October 2 to 4.

A free three day Greek food festival hosted by St.
Tongan families began settling in Euless in the 1970s and 1980s, many of them for work at the airport, and the town now holds one of the largest Tongan communities in the United States.

The current center opened in 1971, just south of the airport that was about to open with it.
On May 30, 1972 a Delta DC-9 flying practice landings at Greater Southwest International ran into the wake of a much larger DC-10 that had gone in ahead of it, rolled and crashed, killing all four crew.
