Fort Worth Center works the sky over four states from a building in Euless
1971
Euless, Texas
The current center opened in 1971, just south of the airport that was about to open with it. Controllers here handle en route traffic across more than 174,000 square miles of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana, which makes it one of the busiest of the country's 22 en route centers: it worked over 2.3 million aircraft in 2024. Almost nobody in the mid-cities knows the building is there.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
