The Louisiana Irish-Italian Parade rolls down Veterans Boulevard in Metairie each spring, combining two of the region's immigrant traditions with cabbage tossed from Irish floats and produce from Italian ones. It has run since the 1980s and is organized by the Louisiana Irish-Italian Association. The 2027 edition is its 45th annual.
