A tongue-in-cheek parody of Alaska's Iditarod in which costumed teams push decorated shopping carts through Brooklyn and Queens streets, judged on showmanship rather than speed. Running annually since around 2004, the 23rd edition drew press coverage from Gothamist and Brooklyn Paper; the exact start point is announced the day of the race.
