The tallest lighthouse in Oregon at 93 feet, on a basalt headland that runs a mile out into the ocean. A persistent local story says it was built here by mistake, the materials having been meant for a headland to the north. It is not true, and the story has outlasted several attempts to correct it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
