SecretName101 · CC BY 4.0 · Wikimedia Commons
McGaw Memorial Hall opened in 1952 to replace Patten Gymnasium and four years later hosted the Final Four of the 1956 NCAA men's basketball tournament. The arena inside was renamed Welsh-Ryan in a 1983 overhaul. Northwestern's basketball, volleyball and wrestling teams still play here, in a building rebuilt again after the 2016 to 2017 season.
