Twenty thousand seats for a college basketball team in a city of three hundred thousand, named for the coach who won four national titles and lost the 1966 final to an all-Black Texas Western starting five. Kentucky has more wins than any program in the sport, and on a home Saturday this is the largest gathering of people in the state.
