Jeptha Wade II paid for this neoclassical chapel in 1901 in memory of his grandfather, a founder of Western Union and the first president of the cemetery association. Behind the bronze doors is one of the few interiors Louis Comfort Tiffany's studios designed complete, with two mosaic walls 32 feet long and a stained glass window, The Flight of Souls, that won a gold medal at the 1900 Paris exposition before it was shipped here. It was the first commission for the Cleveland firm Hubbell and Benes.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
